Workshops

2023 sees the launch of our Sustainable Upcycling Workshops!

It has been a long time coming but finally we have, not one, not two but THREE workshops available.

Our Workshops can fit into any setting, why not book us for a Summer garden party activity, add us to a craft area to bring some environmental love to your Festival or clear your office space for some Corporate Team Building fun.

If you would like to chat in more detail about what our Workshops have to offer please get in touch below.

A TENT FULL OF DREAMS

Creating a dreamcatcher from 100% upcycled pop-up tents. Begin by looking into the gut-wrenching waste across the UK at various music festivals throughout the summer, guests are invited to create a vivid, and vibrant dreamcatcher proving that these discarded items still have life and can be saved from landfill. Led through the workshop step by step each participant will leave with a beautiful decoration suitable for home or garden which will share its brightness for many years to come.

Timings can be flexible, adding in different concepts and designs for those more co-ordinated, workshop works well in a 4hr window but can be extended with more time focusing on the education of the circular economy, the difficulties faced within the Event and Festival industries when it comes to waste and exploring the solutions and charities out there already trying to make a difference and change peoples attitudes

KNOT A TENT ANYMORE

Time to put your knotting skills to the test, learning the basic techniques of Macrame. Creating a perfectly balanced mobile using 100% upcycled tent materials. The story of the festival tent from purchase to salvage is told while guests begin to knot together their mobile. This tricky technique can take some a little time to master so the group are led through it clearly step by step with live tutorial as well as easy to follow written instruction. As well as Macrame, guests will learn how to make Tentastic Pom Poms to add to their creations and have the option of adding in other upcycled and recycled items if they choose. Each participant will leave with a beautiful decoration suitable or home or garden. This workshop is suited to 1/2 day or even a full day, dependant on skill and ability, packs will be provided for guests to finish their creations at home if they do not complete them within the workshop.
